James Nachtwey at TED Awards
This man represents what I would have wanted to become since the age of 10...
I found this clip after I heard there was a movie/documentary about him, it's about 20min long but totaly worth the time. Had seen most of these shots before but having him talking you through them makes it that much more stunning!!

Warning!!! Not for sensitive viewers!! But defenitely worth it.

Remeber the 5th of November....
5th of November here is a big thing, kinda like 4th of July in the US... for those of you who are not familiar with it or haven't seen "V for Vendetta", its the day Guy Fawkes got caught while trying to blow up the "King and the Parliament"! It's supposed to serve as a reminder to everyone what happens to traitors... (read the article to find out what happend to them...)
Interesting piece of history considering that the king was king James that translated the bible to english!

Anyhow, we took the girls to see the fireworks & it was lots of fun, here are a couple of pics...

Remember

the 5th

of November

A day in Porto
Porto is a very nice city, for those who haven't been there yet I suggest you do...
here are some random pics I took:

The old part of town...

Town life

By the river...

Oh to work on one of these..

The man himself.. Sandeman

Kodak moment..

End of an Era?

The rest can be viewed here (below), we also visited a Wine cantine/museum where at the end of the tour you get to taste different types of Port, in the hopes that you buy your Port from them & I tell you it works, good thing I travel "light" or I would have bought half the store... (we bought 2 bottles) after that photography was rubish, blury & what not!! But it was also time to start heading home. Great day!
