We just got back from our vacation/trip to Italy where we met lots of nice people, went to lots of nice places & met LOTS of relatives. We also had to say goodbye to our car who had been faithful for over two years, (sigh)

After a long trip down, (we were in the car for over 20 hrs) we finaly got to Milan at Grandma Charity & co.
It was defenitely HOT, 35°C was a BIG difference from the 18°C in flooded UK.
After a day (might have been two) to recuperate, we all headed off to the lake (Lago Maggiore) which was suprisingly pleasent (some of use have issues with lakes, being ocean lovers & all) we had a pic nic, swam & had some fun. It was nice to see the sun again!!






It was lots of fun but we soon had to depart as we were headed for Rome, to the beach...
